Glitter Grunge
Short film written and directed by Ella Cannon & Liv Carleton
Directors Statement:
This story is a vibrant, authentic and cathartic look into the lives of young female musicians who are about to take on whole new lives and challenges. Our story is about a group of best friends with an inseparable bond. Navigating, facing and accepting the gut wrenching but inevitable reality of growing apart. We want to validate these terrifying feelings of getting older. Our aim is to challenge stereotypes of young women in rock and highlight them as creative, driven and empowered. We aim to use music to capture vulnerable emotions using a powerful visual style inspired by the 2000s rock era.
I have worked with the directors and crew to create social media and fundrasing elements.
